I so enjoyed these characters。 Especially Laurent。 So complex。 I found myself reading just to catch more detail and subtlest I may have missed。 So well written。 Finally got more time with Laurent and Damen letting those walks down but not enough。 Wanted so much more。 The slooooooooow burn was so worth it but it made me want so much more。 This wrapped up rather quickly and let me wanting an epilogue。 🔥🔥2/5

5 stars-Here I am， heart in my hand， eyes wet with tears because this book wrecked me。In brief， I picked up this series on a whim because I had had it on my shelves for so long and it was time to pick it up。 I knew what the series was about， I learned how divisive and polarizing the reviews and opinions I've read and heard were， so I didn't know exactly what my journey into this world would be like。 What I didn't expect was to fall madly in love with the characters in the story， with the amazing 5 stars-Here I am， heart in my hand， eyes wet with tears because this book wrecked me。In brief， I picked up this series on a whim because I had had it on my shelves for so long and it was time to pick it up。 I knew what the series was about， I learned how divisive and polarizing the reviews and opinions I've read and heard were， so I didn't know exactly what my journey into this world would be like。 What I didn't expect was to fall madly in love with the characters in the story， with the amazing writing and the wild ride the story took me in。This is a series that I'll see myself re-reading in the future， I enjoyed it so deeply。 I cried I laughed， I swooned and yelled and raged with these characters。I'm not proud of myself but I even found myself yelling "kill him！" once or twice （A few members of my family might be a bit concerned about me）。 This was just such a well-crafted story with substantial characters and this feeling of wanting to grip the edge of your seat or you might fall off。Also， I super recommend the audiobooks for the series， the narrator killed it！ 。。。more

sooo。 this just happened。 i read a whole trilogy in 4 days。 i read this book in less than 24 hours。 welp。This book。。。 This book scared the absolute crap out of me。 I was so f*cking scared for the characters where it got to the stage where I was crying （and I hardly cry in books） out of fear for what was going to happen at the ending of this book。 Whenever I put this book down， my brain immediately wanted to pick it up again。 This book took up my whole entire mindset and I'm still thinking about sooo。 this just happened。 i read a whole trilogy in 4 days。 i read this book in less than 24 hours。 welp。This book。。。 This book scared the absolute crap out of me。 I was so f*cking scared for the characters where it got to the stage where I was crying （and I hardly cry in books） out of fear for what was going to happen at the ending of this book。 Whenever I put this book down， my brain immediately wanted to pick it up again。 This book took up my whole entire mindset and I'm still thinking about it rn。 I think I'll be obsessed with it for a little while now。 I felt so much pain and my jaw dropped so many times whilst reading this book。 The amount of plot twists contained within the pages of this book。。。。 I had to put the book down multiple times and comprehend what the f*ck was happening。 When I thought things were okay， another curveball was thrown at me。 Damen and Laurent。。。。 Their relationship is everything。 Absolutely everything。 They did everything for each other and I am in awe of how dedicated these two were to each other。 And I'm so happy with how this book ended。 I honestly thought it was going to end badly and the series would end on a cliffhanger。。Thank you to Molly for making me pick up this trilogy。 I had no idea how many emotions it would make me feel。 But， I'm so， so grateful I read it， because it is an experience I'm never going to forget。 Recommend 100% and this series reminded me why I love reading so much。 It's so easy to understand and I guarantee you will fly through these books。 <3 。。。more

Luego de mucho caos por fin el príncipe Damiamos de Akielos ha regresado， la verdad ha salido a la luz y los protagonistas de este libro se ven en la tarea de luchar por sus reinos。Este libro sin duda fue mi favorito de la trilogía ya que tu mente en todo momento te pide más y más， yo sin duda estoy enamorada de Damen y Laurent， en este libro vemos como el segundo lucha contra el hombre que juró hacer pedazos pero que terminó siendo de admirar a sus ojos。A pesar que su amor es extremadamente frá Luego de mucho caos por fin el príncipe Damiamos de Akielos ha regresado， la verdad ha salido a la luz y los protagonistas de este libro se ven en la tarea de luchar por sus reinos。Este libro sin duda fue mi favorito de la trilogía ya que tu mente en todo momento te pide más y más， yo sin duda estoy enamorada de Damen y Laurent， en este libro vemos como el segundo lucha contra el hombre que juró hacer pedazos pero que terminó siendo de admirar a sus ojos。A pesar que su amor es extremadamente frágil， su dúo es poderoso， en cada batalla se ve como se apoyan y el final te deja con lágrimas porque lo logran， pero su camino al éxito es tan duro que sólo quieres abrazarlos y que sean felices， es un libro que recomiendo al 100% entró a mi top de los mejores libros que he tenido el placer de leer en mi vida。Como les digo siempre muy pendiente a las advertencias ya que es un libro muy crudo en cuanto a términos de violencia y contenido difícil。 Pero de verdad vale la pena leer esta trilogía porque te engancha demasiado。 Para finalizar no le digo adiós a esta trilogía porque sé que volveré a leerla。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This trilogy could have been one book。。。 The writing is great， I did enjoy reading it， but found a lack of substance frustrated me because of the constant hot/cold interactions with the main characters。 Kastor and Jokaste are plot devices pulling strings in the background with only speculation to their motives and no real contributions from either character， and they are each dispatched soon after appearing。 I loved Laurent as cold and calculating， but this installment really picked at that port This trilogy could have been one book。。。 The writing is great， I did enjoy reading it， but found a lack of substance frustrated me because of the constant hot/cold interactions with the main characters。 Kastor and Jokaste are plot devices pulling strings in the background with only speculation to their motives and no real contributions from either character， and they are each dispatched soon after appearing。 I loved Laurent as cold and calculating， but this installment really picked at that portrayal and makes Damon seem more dicknotized than anything。 The abrupt ending was such a huge disappointment。 I thought Damon was going to end slavery， where's that？ Where's the coronation for both of them？ I thought the Regent had gotten along as far as he had for as long as he did because of his allies and supporters， what about the rest of them？ I really would have liked to know Erasmus's reaction to learning Damon's true identity。 So much world building throughout the story， and none of it at the end - that's what disappointments me the most about reading all three books。Edit:Okay， I've realized that I'm mostly angry that there was all this talk about Damon properly courting Laurent and it didn't happen。 After all the snide remarks， and the awful PTSD-triggering whip gift， it would have been nice to see Laurent outside of his comfort zone， with no more leverage to shut down Damon and manipulate him。 That's what I wanted for the ending。 Actual romance and relationship building。 An honest allegiance between Vere and Akeidos。 The kiss， "idiot"， and saying it's not a fatal wound abrupt ending was terrible and cheapened everything that led up to it。 。。。more

«Di’ il mio nome。»«Damianos。»Capitolo conclusivo meraviglioso e pienamente all'altezza dei precedenti。Impariamo a conoscere sempre di più la psicologia dei nostri personaggi， soprattutto Laurent， filamente mostrato nel profondo。 L'amore verso questi personaggi è tale che， quando il libro finisce， sembra di non averne avuto neanche lontanamente abbastanza， e di volerne di più。 La delicatezza con cui vengono affrontati certi traumi mi ha affascinata， ed è proprio su questo fronte che avviene il gr «Di’ il mio nome。»«Damianos。»Capitolo conclusivo meraviglioso e pienamente all'altezza dei precedenti。Impariamo a conoscere sempre di più la psicologia dei nostri personaggi， soprattutto Laurent， filamente mostrato nel profondo。 L'amore verso questi personaggi è tale che， quando il libro finisce， sembra di non averne avuto neanche lontanamente abbastanza， e di volerne di più。 La delicatezza con cui vengono affrontati certi traumi mi ha affascinata， ed è proprio su questo fronte che avviene il grandissimo salto di qualità rispetto al primo libro， che， invece， era completamente privo di questa dolcezza。 Ho adorato， e ripeto， ADORATO， le scene intime tra i due protagonisti， così sincere e delicate come raramente ne ho lette， soprattutto se si tiene conto della cornice rappresentata dai costumi sessuali della società Veriana e di quella Akielosiana， a volte molto diretti e volgari。 La trama， poi， procede serrata fino alla fine， con colpi di scena che spesso non avevo previsto。 Per me， questo libro è un 4 stelle e mezzo。 Una bella conclusione per una saga affascinante che mi ha letteralmente rubato il sonno， tenendomi incollata alle pagine fino al mattino。 L'unica nota che rimpiango un po' （e che non mi ha fatto dare 5 stelle） piene è il finale， forse un po' affrettato。 Le novelle sopperiscono a questa mancanza， ma avrei preferito una decina di pagine in più e non il finale così netto che invece ci è stato dato。 Fa niente， anche se un po' mi dispiace。 ⭐⭐⭐⭐。5 e tanto tanto amore per Damen e Laurent！ 。。。more
